Call for legal action over alleged defamatory statements against CM DK Shivakumar and Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan

Kirtan Gowda of NSSUI Dakshina Kannada District Committee demanded a proper investigation and legal action regarding the alleged defamatory statements made by actor Dhanweer against Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan. He stressed that while everyone has the right to express their opinions, maintaining restraint, responsibility, and mutual respect is essential when speaking about public figures. Gowda stated that any criticism must be subject-matter based and respectful, and that such statements must be within the bounds of law.
