BWSSB to Expand Coverage to Entire Bengaluru Urban District

The Urban Development Department has issued a notification to expand the coverage of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) to the entire Bengaluru urban district. The board's responsibility will cover drinking water supply, sewerage facilities, and sewage disposal through treatment plants across the district. Officials noted that while the expansion is planned, no immediate impact will be felt by residents, as providing water supply plans to these areas will take several years.
