BSWM: Tender for Solid Waste Management Re-invitation Lacks Service Rates

The Bangalore Solid Waste Management Ltd. (BSWM) has been criticized for re-inviting the solid waste package tender without including service rates. The committee report stated that it is inappropriate to consider a 14% tender premium when service rates were not included in the original tender. BSWM officials defended the omission, stating that the calculation of service rates was different when preparing the estimate list for 33 solid waste packages.
