BMTC to implement new Automatic Passenger Counting system in 30 buses

The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to introduce a new technology system to enhance the efficiency of its bus operations. The Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) system will be implemented in 30 selected buses. This system will provide accurate data on the number of passengers boarding, alighting, and the passenger movement at various stops. The data will also help in analyzing bus occupancy and passenger density at different times.
