BMTC fares hike sparks public anger over fare disparity with Namma Metro

Following the fare hike by BMTC, a concerning disparity has emerged in public transport fares in Bengaluru. Passengers noted that traveling on regular BMTC buses is now more expensive than traveling on Namma Metro, even though the latter is known as one of the country's most expensive rail-based transport systems.
