BMRCL cancels tenders for Orange Line project, plans for re-tendering

BMRCL has cancelled the tenders for three packages related to the civil works of the 'Orange Line' (Orange Line) under the Namma Metro Phase 3. This cancellation is primarily due to the decision to scale down the previously planned 'end to end' double-decker flyover construction. BMRCL stated that the old tenders were cancelled because of design changes in the project and flyover design. The corporation stated that after re-estimating the entire project cost, a new tender will be called soon.
