BJP MLA's letter to Election Commission to remove 2,598 names from voter list

CPCC President B.K. Hariprasad demanded strict action against those attempting to remove 2,598 names from the voter list belonging to the minority community. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, he displayed a letter written by Bengaluru BJP MLA Abhay Patil to the Election Commission. Hariprasad stated that the Election Commission had replied to their letter, stating that such removal of voter names is not possible. He also claimed that those submitting bogus applications are punishable by law.
