BJP Leader R. Ashok: State Government Failed to Meet Farmers' Demands; We Will Go to People's Court

BJP opposition leader R. Ashok alleged that the state government failed to implement the demands put forth for farmers suffering from drought. He stated that the government provided only ₹2,500 relief, and the opposition will now approach the people and the People's Court. Ashok also demanded that the state government should first provide relief to drought-affected farmers, as the opposition does not oppose seeking central aid.
