BJP's Basavaraja Horatti and Congress's Nagaraj Yadav exchange heated remarks in Vidhana Parishad over 'Guarantee' schemes

During the Thursday session in the Vidhana Parishad, BJP's Basavaraja Horatti stated that workers are unavailable in villages to cut cotton due to the 'Guarantee' scheme. He also claimed that young people are spending time on beds after receiving Yuvanidhi. Congress's Nagaraj Yadav strongly objected to Horatti's remarks, stating that giving ₹2,000 to every family head is not charity but a right. Horatti countered, saying that the government needs to check who is receiving the 'Guarantee' schemes, as giving them to ineligible people causes an economic burden on the government.
