BESCOM to provide 1000 MW electricity from November 1; total supply expected to reach 2000 MW

BESCOM Managing Director N. Shivashankar stated that 1000 MW of electricity will be available from Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh via exchange mechanism starting November 1. He also noted that total electricity supply is expected to reach 2000 MW from November 1. The MD also mentioned that the electricity usage has increased significantly due to the lack of rain, leading to higher usage in agricultural pump sets and ACs.
