BDA and police halt commercial event setup at Sahakarnagar playground

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and police halted the setup of commercial stalls at the E Block playground on Thursday. This action followed complaints from residents regarding the alleged misuse of the public space for commercial events. Residents alleged that allowing such events violated the Karnataka Parks, Play-fields and Open Spaces (Preservation and Regulation) Act, 1985.
