BDA may extend Karanth Layout site application deadline to Nov 15

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is considering extending the deadline for submitting applications for sites in the Dr K Shivaram Karanth Layout to November 15. The original deadline was set as October 15. The BDA noted that only around 1,700 applicants have completed the payment process so far, compared to nearly 5,700 who collected challans. The initial site deposit ranges from Rs 8.7 lakh to Rs 29 lakh.
