BDA announces cash rewards up to ₹4 lakh for information on encroached or fraudulently claimed properties

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has announced cash rewards of up to ₹4 lakh for providing information regarding properties that have been encroached upon or for which claims are made using fake documents. According to the notice issued on October 12, the reward amount is determined based on the size of the plot. The authority aims to collect ₹10,000 crore by auctioning properties for major infrastructure projects like the Bengaluru Business Corridor and Peripheral Ring Road.
