Banaswadi flyover construction process begins; MLA requests BESCOM Kengeri office not be relocated

The Commissioner instructed that the necessary land acquisition process for the flyover connecting Maruthi Seva Nagar, Baiyappanahalli railway station, Kammanahalli, and Banaswadi be expedited. Separately, MLA S.T. Somashekhar requested the Energy Minister that the BESCOM Kengeri Satellite Town office and sub-division unit should not be relocated. The MLA stated that the Kengeri sub-division office is within a 5 km radius of the Yeshwanthpur constituency and serves over 32,847 customers, making its current location convenient for quick repairs and complaint filing.
