B.K. Hariprasad slams S. Suresh Kumar, alleging corruption in Bengaluru tenders

K.P.CC President B.K. Hariprasad launched a strong attack on BJP senior MLA S. Suresh Kumar on Monday. Hariprasad alleged that Suresh Kumar is involved in corruption, citing a complaint filed with the Lokayukta regarding alleged irregularities in tenders worth around 300 crore rupees. He also accused Suresh Kumar of pressuring officials in the tender process for various works under the Chief Minister's Infrastructure Development Fund and the BBMP. Hariprasad further alleged that in a 2020 project worth 72.25 crore rupees, Suresh Kumar pressured officials to favor certain contractors, which he claimed was documented in a TVISCC Chief Engineer's office note.
