Association demands immediate halt to deployment of medical officers

The Greater Bengaluru Authority - Corporation and Employee Welfare Association has demanded the immediate halt to the deployment of medical officers to five city corporations on deputation from the Health and Family Welfare Department. The association's president, A. Amrutraj, stated that while there is no fixed qualification for deployment of medical officers from the department to the GBA, allowing the deployment of 25 percent of medical officers on deputation is incorrect.
