ASP Venkatesh writes to government seeking removal from Soujanya case SIT

ASP Venkatesh Prasanna wrote a letter to the state government requesting to be removed from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed for the re-investigation of the Soujanya rape and murder case. The Supreme Court had directed the government to form an SIT and conduct a re-investigation, submitting a report within three months. The SIT was headed by IGP N. Shashikumar, with members including Commissioner of Mangalore City Police C.H. Sudheerkumar Reddy, SP Nisha James of State Intelligence, CID SP Lokesh Jaglasar, and ASP Venkatesh Prasanna of Bengaluru Rural District.
