Arrest of one accused in sting operation; search continues for others

Following a complaint filed by former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, CCB and City Central Cyber Crime Division police conducted a sting operation. Police arrested Ritesh Pandey in Delhi. Authorities stated that Ritesh Pandey purchased a mobile phone for the sting operation and that sources revealed the team that helped commit the act. Police are searching for the remaining accused. Separately, Rakesh Shetty, head of the Power TV news channel, who faced arrest in this case, has obtained interim non-bailable bail from the CICHC court.
