Argument over gold jewelry leads to mother's death; post-mortem reveals truth

A man in Bengaluru's Kadugodi was arrested for allegedly murdering his mother after an argument over gold jewelry. The victim, Bhagyamma (60), a resident of Baveena Mara Colony, was identified. The accused, Balaji (35), confessed to the police that the argument occurred on September 24, and he had assaulted his mother.
