AI Technology Implemented for Solving Civic Issues in BBMP Area

BBMP Commissioner K.N. Ramesh stated that AI-based technology has been practically implemented to quickly report and resolve various issues, including block spots, potholes, street lights, and illegal advertisement boards in the South City Ward. During a practical survey, an AI-camera equipped vehicle conducted a comprehensive survey on 150 km of roads out of 311 km, identifying issues like potholes, footpath encroachments, building waste, and unauthorized optical fiber wires. The Commissioner instructed that the 1,000 waste-related tickets identified during the survey must be resolved within the next 10 days.
