Addressing the need to include Hallikar community in Category 1, CM's son-in-law promises support

At an event organized by the RMR Hallikar Foundation Trust in the city on Sunday, Deputy CM G. Premeshwara spoke about the need to include the Hallikar community in Category 1. He distributed prizes and scholarships to the community's students. During the event, prizes and scholarships were given to 6 students for scoring the highest marks in SSLC and PUC, 76 students for scoring over 90%, and 850 students for good marks, with amounts of ₹25,000, ₹10,000, and ₹5,000 respectively. The event was held with a total expenditure of ₹2 crore, providing aid to approximately 2,500 students.
