Accused arrested in Bengaluru for alleged theft of ₹40 lakh from trust

Puttanahalli Police arrested Srinivas Nadagowda, accused of allegedly stealing ₹40 lakh from a trust. The police stated that Nadagowda, who worked at the Shri Sai Darshanam Trust, allegedly stole money in stages from a locker belonging to Srigurumurthy and his wife Yashodha. The theft was discovered recently when Yashodha opened and inspected the locker. During investigation, a fake locker key was found in the accused's purse.
