Accusations of Election Commission Misuse by BJP from Farmers' Union

At a divisional level workshop held at K.V. Shankaragouda Bhavan in Bengaluru on Saturday, B. Venkat, National General Secretary of the Farmers' and Rural Labourers' Union, accused the BJP of misusing the Election Commission. He stated that the BJP is misusing the Election Commission due to fears of losing the next election, after having a majority in the central government and now governing with other parties. He also claimed that the increase in food grain prices due to middlemen and businessmen friends of the BJP is causing severe hardship for the poor.
