₹620 Crore Tender Launched for Solid Waste Management in 27 Bengaluru Constituencies

Bengaluru Urban Development Minister Krishna Bairegoud announced a new tender process for solid waste management across 27 assembly constituencies. The process, valued at ₹620 crore, divides the 27 constituencies into 33 packages for transparent waste disposal. The minister also stated that the new system will replace old auto tippers with larger, 4-wheeled vehicles, increasing the daily waste collection capacity from 5,200 tonnes to 9,000 tonnes.
