61-meter open web girders installed at NH-44 near Chandapura

K-Raid has installed 61-meter open web girders (toles) at the major bridge No. 470 on National Highway-44 near Chandapura. The first girder was installed on October 10, and the second girder was installed on October 28. K-Raid officials stated that this is a significant step in the 48 km Baiyappa Nahalli–Hosur railway double-tracking project. The project aims to allow both 'up' and 'down' railway lines to be housed in the general substructure, according to the approved design.
