2.19 lakh applications submitted for voter list inclusion, expected to raise Bengaluru Urban District voter count to 59 lakh

The Election Commission stated that the voter count for Bengaluru Urban District is expected to rise to 59 lakh. A total of 2.19 lakh people have applied for inclusion in the voter list. The Election Commission informed that an estimated 2 lakh voters are expected to be added after the disposal and verification of various applications, including Form-7 and Form-8.
