Bengaluru 108 ambulance crew threatens strike over annual increment

The 108 ambulance drivers and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Bengaluru have threatened to go on strike from Wednesday midnight. The strike call was given after talks with the Health department officials failed to meet the promises made during previous discussions. The associations stated that close to 3,200 ambulance drivers and EMTs will stop working, and they received permission to protest in Freedom Park on October 22.
