₹1.52 Crore Bribe Allegations Surface in KPSC Recruitment Scam Investigation

The CID investigation team uncovered that candidates deposited a total of ₹1.52 crore into accounts at Tilakwadi Om Lakshmi Souharda Sahakara Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank for securing posts during the KPSC recruitment. The investigation also found that some candidates had given ₹60 lakh in cash to middlemen Basavaraja Kannadaile and IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar. The CID submitted its investigation report to the government on Monday.
