1,000 km of pedestrian-friendly footpaths planned in North City Corporation area

Action has been taken to make a 1,000 km footpath pedestrian-friendly within the North City Corporation area. As part of this initiative, officials inspected the footpaths on both sides of the Kodigehalli Main Road, covering a 4 km stretch from Kodigehalli Gate to Kodigehalli. During the inspection, issues were noted, including defunct street light poles, elevated manhole covers, and encroachment by shopkeepers and street vendors.
