MLA D. Ravishankar speaks at sanitation workers' day celebration

MLA D. Ravishankar addressed the sanitation workers' day celebration held at the Purasabha premises on Tuesday. He stated that the service of sanitation workers is vital for maintaining the cleanliness of the city, town, and neighborhoods. He mentioned that the effort of the sanitation workers in K.R. Nagar was the main reason for the area receiving three times the Clean City Award. During the event, the government's schemes for the welfare of sanitation workers were highlighted, including increased allowances and benefits. Additionally, 32 sanitation workers' children were given tablets, and awards were distributed to children who participated in the art competition.
