Grand Ganesh Visarjan held in Hettur village, procession passes through Basavanagudi and Malleshwaram

The grand Ganesh idol, installed at the Gram Panchayat premises in Hettur, was immersed on Thursday. The immersion ceremony included a Ganapathi Hom and a large ಅನ್ನದಾನ (annadana) program at the installation site. The procession started from the main village road and passed through Kumar Lingeshwara Temple, Malleshwaram Temple, Basavanagudi, and Ambedkar Road, reaching Santhekere in Ayguru Street, Vidyanagar. The idol was subsequently immersed by crane.
